The solution that has been suggested combines sophisticated optimization algorithms with power flow analytic tools. A systematic methodology for determining the optimal reconfiguration of distribution systems to minimize power losses while adhering to various technical and operational constraints is presented in the thesis. This methodology is accomplished by utilizing mathematical optimization techniques such as mixed-integer linear programming (MILP), genetic algorithms, and particle swarm optimization. The crucial goal of decreasing power losses via the strategic redesign of distribution networks is the primary emphasis of this thesis. .
